  1. Short: Cool Essence II Organic examples
  2.  
  3. This image is a demonstration of the "Organic" category of textures in
  4. Essence Volume II, a library of algorithmic textures for Imagine.
  5. Each letter has different organic texture(s) on it, showing the
  6. variety of effects that can be produced. Each letter is a simple flat
  7. faced, extruded shape, with any extra 3D features added by texture
  8. bump mapping.

  10. The background is a single, large, flat plane with another Organic
  11. texture added to it.

  13. This image took 56 minutes to render (in scanline) on a 25Mhz A3000
  14. with a 68030. No touchup was done other than a JPEG conversion using
  15. ADPro.
